After forming the "Foutte" alliance with Swaggy C, Head of Household Kaitlyn Herman was influenced by Tyler Crispen to backdoor her one-time ally.

Following Tyler's Power of Veto victory, Kaitlyn shocked her alliance by nominating Chris "Swaggy C" Williams, and he would eventually be voted out to complete the blindside.

With a Final 3 deal in place with Dan Gheesling and Shane Meaney, Danielle Murphree used the Power of Veto to save Dan from eviction. That also gave Dan the only vote to evict. He then betrayed Danielle by eliminating Shane.

If her reaction is any indication, Danielle might still be picking her jaw up off the floor.

After being promised by her fellow Houseguests that she was safe, Jillian Parker—along with an angry Cody Nickson—was immediately shocked that she was evicted by an 8-4 vote.

After aligning with the dynamic duo—Jeff and Jordan—for most of Big Brother 13, Shelly then voted Jeff out of the house in an unexpected eviction. The move shocked players and fans alike.

One of the most famous strategic moves in the show’s history, the backdoor plan, was conceived by Nakomis Dedmon and Marvin Latimer in Big Brother 5.

The tactic was then executed by Head of Household and Power of Veto holder Nakomis to blindside Jase Wirey, the leader of the Four Horsemen alliance.

Before Nakomis hatched the backdoor plan, she was involved in another major twist that blindsided two Houseguests.

Unaware of each other’s existence before entering the house, Nakomis and Michael Ellis discovered that they're estranged siblings.

Big Brother 5 was full of surprises. In another jaw-dropping blindside, identical twins—Adria Klein and Natalie Carroll—would swap out of the game every few days.

After the pair reached Week 5 without being evicted or discovered, the sisters both entered the game. Once the twist was revealed, the Houseguests subsequently lost their minds.

In Big Brother 17, the vote between Austin Matelson and Steve Moses was tied, making the Head of Household, Vanessa Rousso, the tie-breaking vote.

She then proceeded to blindside her ally Austin, who was so sure he was going to stay that he left the house without his shoes.

In Big Brother 19, the Maven showmance—Matt Clines and Raven Walton—were supposedly pawns on the block.

But Veto holder Jason Dent shocked the house by choosing to keep the nominations the name, instead of putting Kevin Schlehuber up for eviction.

Even though he was on the nomination block and won the Power of Veto, Marcellas Reynolds decided not to save himself from eviction because he wanted to save the house from additional stress.

The shocking move was quite the blindside for the house. And Marcellas to his dismay was then evicted.

In Big Brother 18, Jozea Flores, the self-proclaimed "Messiah," was one of three Houseguests nominated for eviction.

Jozea was extremely confident that he had the votes to stay, but he was blindsided, and became the second person evicted.

In Big Brother 14, Mike "Boogie" Malin was blindsided after the Quack Pack alliance—led by Ian Terry—masterminded the former winner's "demise."

Boogie had no idea until Ian divulged his master plan during the former's exit interview.

In Big Brother 8, Head of Household Jessica Hughbanks nominated the father-daughter pair of Evel Dick and Daniele Donato, but then Dick won the Veto and took himself off the block.

For some reason, Dustin Erikstrup volunteered to be nominated. Eric Stein, America’s Player, is then, in a surprising move, told to vote out Dustin to complete the blindside.

In Big Brother 4, 10 of the 13 Houseguests unsuspectingly entered the house to compete against their exes.

However, the X-Factor twist didn’t stop Jun Song from winning the grand prize.

In Big Brother 15, Andy Herren masterfully maneuvered a betrayal of Amanda Zuckerman without getting any dirt on his hands.

It all started when Andy was roped into Elissa Slater's plan to keep Amanda safe, but Andy then framed Elissa for voting out Amanda when her showmance partner, McCrae Olson, later won Head of Household.

In Big Brother 11, America voted to give Jeff the Coup d'état advantage—the ability to remove the two nominated Houseguests and replace them with two of his own.

Jeff then used the power to nominate and evict Jessie Godderz, in a massive blindside.

Serving as America’s Player, Dan voted to evict Jessie rather than Memphis Garrett.

The bold move caused the house to split, shattering multiple alliances.

In Big Brother 18, Head of Household Bridgette Dunning won the Power of Veto and refused to change the nominations—Bronte D'Acquisto, Tiffany Rousso, Paul Abrahamian—even though Bronte was part of Bridgette's "Spy Girl" alliance.

Thanks to Da'Vonne Rogers' master plan, Bronte was evicted by a 5-4-0 vote.

After being aligned with Will Kirby for the majority of Big Brother 7, Janelle Pierzina eventually evicted her ally over Erika Landin.
