Biography
Nikki M. James (Rochelle Daudier in BRAINDEAD) Nikki M. James is a Tony Award-winning actress who has enjoyed success on Broadway and beyond. She won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Nabalungi in the hit Broadway musical “The Book of Mormon.” She also starred as Eponine in the Broadway revival of “Les Misérables” and appeared in the Broadway shows “All Shook Up” and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” Other theater credits include “Romeo and Juliet,” “Caesar and Cleopatra,” alongside Christopher Plummer, “The Wiz,” “Bernarda Alba,” “House of Flowers” and “Walmartopia.” James’ feature film credits include “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby,” “Lucky Stiff,” “All is Bright” and “Caesar and Cleopatra.” On television, she appeared in a recurring role on THE GOOD WIFE on the Network. Also, she appeared in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “30 Rock,” “Third Watch” and “The Jury.” James enjoys singing and has sold out several one woman cabaret shows at popular New York City venues such as 54 Below and Joe’s Pub.
