It's almost time for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which air Sunday January 26 at 8/7c. Here's a rundown to help you freshen up on the Song of the Year Nominees as announced by LL Cool J during this years GRAMMY Nomination Concert Live!

P!nk"Just Give Me a Reason" is a song written and recorded by American recording artist Pink along with fun. main-man Nate Ruess. The song was the third single off Pink's 2012 studio album, The Truth About Love and became an global success - topping charts in over 20 countries worldwide. The song was originally conceived during a song writing session but when Pink realized that she needed someone else to sing the song; thinking of the song as a conversation - she knew Reuss was the man for the job.

Bruno Mars "Locked Out of Heaven" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars from his 2012 sophomore effort - Unorthodox Jukebox. The song was written by Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine, and produced by Mark Ronson, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie and The Smeezingtons. Bruno has been GRAMMY nominated 168 times and has taken home the prize a whopping 47 times. The song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks upon its release and charted inside the top-ten in 20 countries.

"Roar" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Katy Perry, originally off her fourth studio album, Prism. "Roar" was recorded in March 2013 and written by Perry herself along with Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Cirkut, and produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Cirkut. "Roar" lead Perry's biggest digital song sales week ever and sold 557,000 digital copies in its first week - also giving Perry the highest first-week sales numbers of 2013.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
"Same Love" is the fourth single by Seattle native Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis. The song comes off their 2012 debut studio album, The Heist and was recorded in early 2012 and features vocals by fellow Seattle Native Mary Lambert. The music video for "Same Love" was also a global hit - garnering 350,000 views only 24 hours after its debut.

"Royals" is the debut single by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde - off both her 2012 The Love Club EP and debut album, Pure Heroine. The song recoeved worldwide acclaim andThe song put the New Zealand songstresses on the map in a big way - performing at a number of the biggest venues and events around the world including the Ed Sullivan Theatre for CBS ‘Live on Letterman' webcast.
