Julia Michaels
Iowa-born singer Julia Michaels rose to prominence this year with the release of her first solo single, "Issues," which is featured on her debut EP, Nervous System, and peaked at No. 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The EP also features her second single, "Uh Huh." Along with her frequent songwriting partner and the track’s artists, Justin Tranter, Michaels co-wrote Justin Beiber and BloodPop®’s single "Friends.” Later in 2017, Michaels appeared on the song’s remix. In 2016, you might have seen her at the closing ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she performed "Carry Me" with Kygo.
