Album Of The Year
Taylor Swift
Not many did it bigger in 2014 than Taylor Swift. In an attempt to top the massive success of 2012's "Red" and it's subsequent supporting tour, Taylor found herself in a more creative state than ever. Instead of taking significant time off to write, Swift dove straight back into the studio and reinvented herself with the synth-pop driven "1989" - named after and inspired by the sounds of the year she was born. The album went on to become the highest selling album of the year; proving Swift has more than a few tricks left up her sleeve.
