Monty Hall, the co-creator and former host of Let's Make A Deal, has passed away at the age of 96.

In addition to his time on TV, the Canadian-American host was a well-known philanthropist, and, for some time, even held the record for millions raised in charity for foundations like Variety and UNICEF. 

Other accolades? At 91, the iconic host received a Daytime Emmy® Lifetime Achievement Award after hosting more than 4,000 Let's Make A Deal episodes.

On Friday, Oct. 6, Let's Make A Deal will air a very special episode acknowledging Monty's passing and his profound impact on the show and its loyal viewers.
