We already know Mike and Molly make a great fit for each other as husband and wife, but how will the couple fare as first time parents? Here are just a few reasons why this adorable couple will totally rock as dad and mom to one lucky little boy (or girl)!

1. They have a strong marriage.

This pair has the kind of bond that's unbreakable. Through all the family drama, personal issues, and work dilemmas, they've risen above and have always bounced back even stronger than before.

2. They love hard.

A little too hard, if you ask some of their family members. But, that's just one more reason they'd be amazing parents—they've got a lot of love to give, both emotionally and physically.

3. They aren't afraid to get a little silly.

With quick wits and sharp senses of humor, Mike and Molly are sure to make their newborn giggle without even trying.

4. They're great role models.

Mike's a dedicated police officer and Molly is a successful writer who also happens to be a retired school teacher. Plus, the mere fact that Molly decided to change careers so she could follow her dreams will surely inspire the couple's child to go after what they want in life.

5. They have a soft side.

And it's not just for adorable pups, either. Though, taking care of Birdie was a good way to learn the ins and outs of caring for a little one. You know, potty training, playtime, bedtime routines, etc.

6. They don't take themselves—or each other—too seriously.

Even after an argument, Mike and Molly are right there for each other to talk things through when the going gets rough. Grudges? They don't hold them.

7. They're extremely supportive.

Not only are these two there for each other, but they're also around to offer encouragement for their tight circle of friends and family. So, if you've got a problem, you can always call Mike and Molly for a shoulder—or two—to cry on.

8. They respect limits and boundaries.

When Mike wanted Molly to keep up with all the house chores in between writing novels, she took a stand on being a "good wife" by letting Mike fend for himself. Not only did the incident teach Mike to appreciate his better half more, but it also proved that sometimes you gotta learn things the hard way.

For all the above reasons—and many, many more—fans can count on Mike and Molly to be a pair of a wonderfully supportive and nurturing parents. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Biggs!
