LL COOL J knows a thing or two about talent.

The NCIS: Los Angeles star and two-time GRAMMY Award® winner—who also happens to have played a pro football star in a feature film—is the perfect host for MVP: Most Valuable Performer.

This all-new special is an interactive talent show featuring top pro football stars demonstrating their off-the-field talents, which are as diverse as acro-yoga, Irish step dancing, rapping, cooking, and archery.

Fans helped pick the six finalist acts from the 32 participating players with an online vote. A panel of celebrity judges will critique each performance during the live broadcast from the Avalon Hollywood on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 8 PM ET / delayed PT on CBS and CBS All Access. After they narrow the field down from six to three, viewers will then get to weigh in during the show with their own vote on before the overall winner is revealed live.

LL COOL J's own talents span multiple mediums, as a two-time GRAMMY Award winner, recording artist, talented actor, author, NAACP Image Award winner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. In addition to playing Sam Hanna on NCIS: Los Angeles, he currently hosts and produces Emmy-nominated Lip Sync Battle. The entertainment icon is the first rapper and youngest ever to earn the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor. Last year he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his achievement in music. In early 2018 he will be launching his own classic hip-hop channel on SiriusXM: "Rock the Bells Radio."
