Season 4 cheat sheet
Major notes: With less standalone episodes than ever before, the more serialized season four is especially great for binge-watching. Plots brew against the Federation as the Klingon House of Duras is imperilled. Plus, the Romulans always have something tricky up their sleeves. Family legacy plays a significant role throughout the season as Worf struggles with restoring his Klingon family’s honor and raising his son, Alexander. Tasha Yar’s sister and alternate universe half-Romulan daughter (don’t skip “Yesterday’s Enterprise from season 3) also encounter the Enterprise in varying degrees of friendliness. Read: not very friendly at all.
Best episode: Technically, the season three finale, “The Best of Both Worlds, Part 1,” as well as the season four premiere, “The Best of Both Worlds - Part 2,” are the best two-part episode. Thanks to binge-watching, you don’t have to angst over the epic cliffhanger left at the end of season three before delving into its conclusion.
