Christy Plunkett made the Dean's List on Mom.

When Christy decided to pursue a future in law, she immediately put her nose in the books and ended up acing her final exams. 

Even though Bonnie's lackluster response to her daughter making the Dean's List disappointed her, Christy was pumped for her high honors because it meant she was finally the role model she had always wanted to be for her daughter, Violet. Hard work does pay off.
