For months, Caroline and Ridge kept the secret of Douglas' paternity from their friends and family. But, after Katie learned the truth, she brought everything to the surface. 

Unable to convince Bill to keep the information to himself, Ridge decided to come forward and to let the world know. Shortly after, he split from his wife so that Thomas could spend more time with his biological baby boy.
