Jack Parsons (Jack Reynor) and Richard Onsted (Peter Mark Kendall)
Strange Angel, a brand-new CBS All Access Original series that explores the intersection between genius and madness, science, and science fiction, premieres Thursday, June 14, exclusively on CBS All Access.
But before we set out to explore parts unknown—both mechanical and physical—take a look at what's in store during the series premiere.
In the episode entitled "Augurs Of Spring," our story is set in 1930s-era Los Angeles, where Jack Parsons (Jack Reynor) works by day as a janitor at a chemical factory. By night, however, he nurses a secret ambition: to build rockets that will take mankind to the moon.
The pressures of his double life are further complicated when Jack and his wife, Susan (Bella Heathcote), are confronted by a mysterious new neighbor, Ernest Donovan (Rupert Friend), who appears to be keeping dark secrets of his own.
