Before a winner is crowned, here's a look back at their individual Survivor résumés, broken down by each castaway's background, accomplishments, and skills.

Ben Driebergen
Background: This 34-year-old Marine's strong-willed and motivated nature has taken him straight to the end and it comes as no big surprise because, well, that's how American heroes fight.

He's played aggressively all season and has become more and more of a threat to the others, week after week. Always on a lookout for Idols, this competitor has somehow escaped elimination many times just by helping to move the conversation onto other people.

Accomplishments: Ben's most jaw-dropping moment of the season was when he took part in an epic Survivor Tribal Council in the episode "Not Going To Roll Over And Die."

It was solely Ben's vote that sent Lauren out of the game after he saved himself with his Idol. A unanimous vote negated? Thanks to Ben for that memorable moment.

Skills: Strategic powerhouse, persistent, "double agent," humble

Chrissy Hofbeck
Background: This 46-year-old actuary from New Jersey stands as the only female competitor left in the game.

She's been in a power position for most of the game and with many people wanting to work alongside her, she's slid through Tribal Councils with no blood on her hands.

Accomplishments: Chrissy's biggest accomplishments have included aligning with Ryan from the beginning, remaining resilient through Tribals that haven't gone as she planned, and seizing early control of the game through smart planning and conversations.

Not to mention, this strong competitor has won multiple Individual Immunities this season proving herself to be a huge physical threat.

Skills: Intelligent, confrontational, vocal, the mother figure

Devon Pinto
Background: This 23-year-old California surf instructor has exuded a cool confidence since Day 1 and that sense of security in his game plan has led him to the finale.

Devon's been in the power seat along with Chrissy much of the season, making decisions and using his "Hustler" mentality to make it through Tribal Councils untouched.

Accomplishments: Devon's love for the game and ability to visualize moves in advance has given him the means to manipulate those around him, make big decisions, and orchestrate several blindsides in Season 35 by controlling many votes.

Skills: Devoted, grit, level-headed

Ryan Ulrich
Background: This 23-year-old bellhop and Survivor super fan went to Fiji with an intense knowledge of the game.

With that understanding, he was quick to form an alliance with Chrissy, find a secret advantage, and move to the right side of the votes to help get out big players like Ali and Roark.

Accomplishments: One of Ryan's swiftest moves was ditching the plate at the reward on "Playing With The Devil" so less people could learn of the Idol clue.

It showed he was playing a solo—and an intelligent—game. He later retrieved the Idol in one of the boldest—and most insane—moments of the season.

Skills: Approachable, a social butterfly, fierce

Mike Zahalsky
Background: This 43-year-old doctor from Florida has been playing more of an under-the-radar game than most and that's what he credits for getting so far.

As the only Healer left with a shot at becoming Sole Survivor, Mike's been hopeful that his more compassionate and helpful ways will get him through. That, or the fact that he's been "running on fumes."

Accomplishments: Not only has Mike found and played an Idol for himself, but he and Ashley were the first to solve a puzzle for Yawa to win them a reward on "I Don’t Like Having Snakes Around."

He also helped orchestrate Cole's elimination after pitching the idea to the majority alliance before Tribal Council.

Skills: Observant, enthusiastic, determined
