On the Gondol Tribe, Tai and Scot appeared to be complete opposites, physically, but it wasn't long before the two formed a close bond, as demonstrated best during the moment where Scot effortlessly boosted Tai up a tree for him to gather mangos.

The former NBA player couldn't deny his man crush on Tai—watch out Caleb!—and even went so far as to call the California gardener his very own MVP. 

Meanwhile, while Scot was falling for Tai's charm, Anna started to crunch the numbers and realized she might be able to seal Tai's fate sooner than later, so went around camp, trying to convince Aubry and Peter to throw Tai under the bus.
