Only player to attend and survive every Tribal Council: Denise Stapley

After her starting Matsing tribe went zero for four in immunity challenges -- and her swapped Kalabaw tribe lost two more right after -- Survivor: Philippines' winner Denise Stapley (Season 25) became the first Survivor castaway to attend and survive every Tribal Council held on their season.

Most times voted off in a single season: Ozzy Lusth, 3

In Survivor: Redemption Island, Ozzy Lusth was voted out pre-merge on Day 18, only to return to the game on Day 19 as part of the Redemption Island twist. The majority Upolu alliance voted him off again on Day 22, only to see him return to the game yet again on Day 36. His torch was snuffed for a third and final time on Day 38, just one day before the final tribal council.

Youngest Sole Survivor: Jud "Fabio" Birza, 21

Though often on the wrong side of the numbers, Survivor: Nicaragua surfer Jud "Fabio" Birza relied on his charm (and a few clutch individual immunity wins) to become the youngest player to ever win Survivor.

Oldest Sole Survivor: Bob Crowley, 57

Oldest Sole Survivor: Bob Crowley, 57

The oldest person to win the game of Survivor (to date) is Survivor: Gabon's Bob Crowley. The high school physics teacher narrowly beat Sugar Kiper in Season 17's final tribal council by a 4-to-3 vote.

The first ever tribe swap: Survivor: Africa

The first ever tribe swap: Survivor: Africa

On Day 13 of Survivor: Africa (Season 3), both the Samburu and Boran tribes received a mysterious piece of tree mail instructing them to pick three players to go on a quest. That "quest" turned out to be the first ever Survivor tribe swap, giving former Samburu outsiders Frank Garrison and Teresa "T-Bird" Cooper new life in the game.

First time a voted-off castaway returned to the game: Survivor: Pearl Islands

First time a voted-off castaway returned to the game: Survivor: Pearl Islands

In a shocking twist, the first six castaways voted out in Survivor: Pearl Islands (Season 7) formed a new Outcast tribe and were given the opportunity to battle their way back into the game on Day 19. By defeating both the Drake and Morgan tribes in a competition, the Outcasts were able to vote two people back into the game: Burton Roberts (shown) and Lillian Morris.

Only season without a merge: Survivor: Palau

Only season without a merge: Survivor: Palau

History was made on Survivor: Palau (Season 10) when the Ulong tribe lost seven straight immunity challenges to the dominant Koror tribe. As a result, the Ulong tribe was all but entirely wiped out. Rather than form a new merged tribe, the lone surviving Ulong member, Stephanie LaGrossa, was absorbed into Koror.

First appearance of Exile Island: Survivor: Palau

As a punishment for being the first to drop out of an immunity challenge, Survivor: Palau's Janu Tornell was sent to a secluded beach alone for a night of exile. Though that was the only time Exile Island was used in Season 10, the twist would return for a full-season engagement in Survivor: Panama (Season 12).

The Redemption Island twist, where voted-off castaways are given the chance to battle their way back into the game, was first introduced in Season 22 (appropriately named Survivor: Redemption Island). Francesca Hogi (shown) was the first-ever castaway sent to Redemption Island. She also holds the dubious distinction of being the first castaway to lose a Redemption Island duel.
