This just in: Justin Bartha has been cast on The Good Fight, the highly anticipated spinoff of The Good Wife. The new series will premiere in February 2017 on CBS before moving exclusively to CBS All Access, the network's subscription video on-demand and live streaming service.

As a series regular, Bartha will play Colin, a young dynamo in the State's Attorney's office. He also happens to be Chicago's most eligible bachelor. Expect sparks to fly—on multiple levels—when Colin faces off against Lucca Quinn in the courtroom.

"Whenever you're looking for a romantic lead, you look for someone who can play the comedy and the sexuality, but even more importantly is the intelligence," said Executive Producers Robert and Michelle King, who are returning as showrunners for the spinoff. "That's what we love about Justin—he can play all three: the comedy and the sexuality, but he's also convincing as a tough intellectual foe to Cush Jumbo in court. We couldn't be happier."

The new series will feature several popular returning stars like Christine Baranski (Diane Lockhart), Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), and Sarah Steele (Marissa Gold). Bartha is among a number of exciting new cast members, including Rose Leslie (Maia Rindell), Delroy Lindo (Robert Boseman), Paul Guilfoyle (Henry Rindell), Bernadette Peters (Lenore Rindell), and Erica Tazel.
