The Late Show's house band, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, has released "The Late Show EP," now available for purchase on iTunes. The album, which was recorded in January at Avatar Studios and The Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, features six original songs.

"This EP is the perfect soundtrack for your daily workout or weekly get down," said Jon Batiste about the album. "It's what you miss out on when you see the show on TV. It captures the music and joy that the audience experiences when they come to The Late Show live at the theater. Social music on TV is such a great vibe."

Jon Batiste is the featured musical guest on tonight's episode (Tuesday, Feb. 9), in which Olivia Wilde and Christiane Amanpour also appear. Falling on the 52nd anniversary of The Beatles' first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show," tonight Batiste will mark the occasion with a solo performance of the legendary rock band’s song "Blackbird."
