In the new CBS drama The Red Line, which premieres on CBS and CBS All Access during the 2018-2019 TV broadcast season, a tragic event creates a ripple effect within a Chicago community.

Noah Wyle (Falling Skies, ER), who makes his long-awaited return to broadcast TV, stars in The Red Line, which follows the lives of three vastly different families—the Calders, the Youngs, and the Evans—whose stories of loss and tragedy intersect in the wake of the shooting of an African-American doctor by a white cop.

As the lives of each seemingly unrelated family crisscross and converge, a message of hope appears: It's possible to emerge from such a hardship stronger, and it's important to come together with others—not just to survive, but to thrive.

In addition to Wyle, The Red Line also stars Emayatzy Corinealdi (Ballers, Hand Of God), Noel Fisher (The Long Road Home, Shameless), Howard Charles (The Muskateers), Aliyah Royale (Mann & Wife), Michael Patrick Thornton (Private Practice), Vinny Chhibber (No Tomorrow), and Elizabeth Laidlaw (Boss).

Executive Producers for The Red Line are Ava DuVernay (A Wrinkle In Time, Queen Sugar), Greg Berlanti (Arrow, Blindspot), and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, Blindspot). Writers Caitlin Parrish (Supergirl, Under The Dome) and Erica Weiss will also serve as Executive Producers.

The pilot was shot by Victoria Mahoney (Power, Claws), who also serves as Producer on The Red Line.

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television.
