As Brooke explains her relationship with Katie, Rick struggles to understand how things could be so bad, suggesting that there may be another factor at play.

Still reeling from the breakup, Nicole tells Maya she thinks things could have been different if she had only been intimate with Zende. Filled with regret, she tells her sister that she wishes Zende could have been her first. 

"I wanted him to want that enough to wait," she says.

After being pushed away, Sasha comes back for more—and this time, she isn't taking "no" for an answer.

"I don't come from nice people," she tells him. "I come from people who see things how they are. And I see that you need me."

An already hostile conversation becomes even more aggressive after Brooke implies that Katie's drinking too much. Furious, Katie launches a glass decanter at the fireplace, narrowly missing her sister. 

"I'm not just going to hand my life over to you to save my dignity," Katie says. "I will make a holy spectacle of myself, and I don't care who sees."
