This photo offers a "twofer" for me!
Alicia is wearing a charcoal wool zip front suit by Andrew Gn. The wonderfully modern and feminine touches on the suit really separate it from being just another "throw away" charcoal suit: the 3/4 slightly exaggerated sleeve, the rectangular cut-out grommets on the peplum and the shiny silver zipper all work together to make this a standout suit on Alicia.
The other look I wanted to talk about is on Diane. This russet toned wool knit dress by Max Mara is simply stunning on Diane. The color is a perfect tone - neither overwhelming nor screaming for attention. I also like how the dress created a column of color on Diane, emphasizing her wonderful feminine figure while making her look powerful at the same time. The 3/4 sleeve and the thin ostrich belt are nice finishing details. The necklace is also my design for DL for PONO by Joan Goodman (www.ponobyjoangoodman.com). I think the depth of color of the necklace with the russet background of the dress create a harmonious look without being overpowering.
Bonus! I have to say, I love Cary in this tie, suit, shirt combination. Custom suit designed by me and built by Martin Greenfield. Blue shirt is by Thomas Pink and the blue diamond pattern tie is by Ike Behar.
