I was completely loving this mushroom toned suede and knit suit by Lafayette 148. I also loved popping a little color into the look with her jade green ring.
2. It is special without screaming, "Look at me!"
I started this episode off with a wonderful suit by Cynthia Rose. The bronze and black swirl textured suit had the added design detail of a contrasting felted wool peplum and sleeve forearm. I think this is a really great suit because it is not something you see everyday.
3. Talk about special!
Oh, how I do love my Etro. The oversized paisley print coupled with the asymmetrical front closure made this jacket feel very modern and stylish.
4. So chic!
The fabric of this charcoal wool flannel suit may scream masculine, but the cut and styling is decidedly feminine and strong. The suit is my design for my clothing line 35•DL (www.35DL.net). The wool flannel was further feminized by the Rena Lange white silk blouse.
5. Another Twofer!
6. An ode to the Golden Days of Hollywood.
This black and white wool jacket is by Escada. It is paired with a white silk wrap Pucci blouse. This look worked well for the episode because Alicia ends up at a dive diner with friend Finn. We wanted the scene to have a romantic noir feel to it and this 40's inspired look did just the trick.
I just couldn't resist mentioning this teal blue Akris suede dress on Kalinda. I love the exaggerated zippers and the high neck. I think it is the epitome of Kalinda office wear - supple while being hard edged.
