Elaine Welteroth
Elaine Welteroth is a New York Times bestselling author, award-winning journalist, producer and judge on the new Project Runway. She serves as host of THE TALK, CBS’ Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show highlighting current events, pop culture, family, celebrity and trending topics of the day through the eyes of four female hosts, alongside Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba and Amanda Kloots.

Welteroth is known for her groundbreaking work at the helm of Teen Vogue where she was appointed the youngest ever editor-in-chief at a Conde Nast publication at age 29 and used her position to prioritize diversity and social justice coverage. She’s now a leading expert and advocate for the next generation of change-makers. In 2020, Welteroth was appointed Cultural Ambassador for Michelle Obama’s “When We All Vote” initiative.

Welteroth is also the host of a new podcast called “Built to Last” that amplifies the stories of Black founders, past and present. Her debut book More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are No Matter What They Say was an immediate New York Times bestseller and won the 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. Currently, she is writing and executive producing the book-to-television adaptation. Her editorial writing appears in The New York Times, British Vogue, Glamour and The Hollywood Reporter. She has also written for the television shows “Black-ish” and “Grown-ish,” where she had a recurring cameo role.
