The Talk's #SeeHer Story Of The Day
The #SeeHer initiative seeks to increase the accurate representation of females in U.S. advertising and media.


Many leading advertisers and popular brands are working together to encourage positive change in the media. CBS Corporation is proud and committed to supporting #SeeHer, a powerful initiative created by the Association of National Advertisers.

The Talk has joined forces to support the #SeeHer initiative with a segment called #SeeHer Stories of the Day. These stories feature powerful women to increase the accurate representation of women and girls in U.S. advertising and media by 20% by 2020. Because "If you can SEE her, then you can BE her."

Today's story discussed our very own Sharon Osbourne, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002 and declared cancer-free one year later. She has designed her own holiday card to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. She opens up about her battle in a new PSA and in this week's People magazine, she says that when cancer touches you personally, it changes your whole life.
