"CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King shares her thoughts on the current state of the pandemic. "Please people don't forget that as these numbers are climbing, that these numbers are people and represent people. And I worry that we just get desensitized to it....I never feel that. I'm always very mindful as that number keeps climbing." She adds, "We're so close. Anthony Fauci, who I bow down, I love all things Tony Fauci, who says, we're almost there. There's light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to hold on for the vaccine. I know it's a bit of a hot mess right now with the vaccine, but they will work that out. They will get it to us. We just have to hold on. We are really in the home stretch." On a personal note, King shares, "I worry if I get it all alone. That's very frightening to [not] have somebody that can be there with you, that's so important to have human contact. I can't wait for the day that we are in the studio together."
