'The Talk' Hosts Make Good on Promise to Support Girl Scouts
Last week, a story went viral about a New Jersey Girl Scout troop being robbed while they were selling cookies. "The Talk" vowed to send the troop $1200 dollars to cover their losses. Now, there are conflicting reports and some are saying the whole thing may have been a hoax. Host Sara Gilbert reacts, "Since the details of what happened remain unclear, we still wanted the Girl Scouts to benefit, so we sent the check to the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey, which will help support all the troops in the region." Sheryl Underwood adds, "Whatever happened, the girls shouldn't be penalized for this. They did nothing wrong and we sent the money out of the goodness of our hearts." Sharon Osbourne adds, "Sheryl, I bought 100 boxes... and I'm going to give them to the local homeless shelter."
