Danny DeVito on 'Dumbo', CGI First and Why 'seven poodles' and 'snake' Graced Set
Danny DeVito spills details about his upcoming film "Dumbo" and working for the first time with CGI and green screen. "It was very interesting," says DeVito. "You have to look at this big green aluminum cutout of the elephant and behind the elephant... Tim [Burton] is literally moving the elephant." DeVito adds, "[The filmmakers] were very sensitive to the whole idea of, like, animals in captivity. It's really, really important and I think we deal with it in a great way in the movie. In the movie, on the set, we had like seven poodles and a snake. I was friendly with the poodles, but I stayed way away from that snake." He then jokes, "No offense, I really like snakes. I deal with snakes all the time in Hollywood. I'm kidding." Full interview to air on "The Talk" to air Friday March 20.
