Sara Gilbert visits "The Talk," Wednesday and shares a sneak peek on season 3 of "The Conners." Well because of the pandemic, we're dealing with some on the show. It's pressing on family in different ways, economically, of course. Darlene had been working on this magazine start up after her and her boyfriend had lost the last one and it's just difficult for them to raise advertising money. So she goes back to the factory where her mom and aunt worked. She's online having to try to get a job. And the reason I love it so much is because it speaks to what happens to so many people in this country." She adds, "We are trying to represent on some level what's happening to the middle class in America, that it would be dishonest to just be sitting around at a restaurant not socially distanced." Gilbert shares what the Conners will celebrate Halloween this year given the pandemic. "We've found a way that we're actually doing Halloween in the house. In a way that people can watch and have fun and learn what they can do at home to have their kids have fun." Michael Fishman's directorial debut, "We're really proud of him. We think it's a good episode."
