LL Cool J reacts to Billy Ray Cyrus' cover of his hit song, "Mama Said Knock You Out." "I absolutely like it. It has my stamp of approval. I love the idea of an artist taking something and reinterpreting it and making it their own. And, it's also what this country needs, right like, we need more unifiable moments like that, you know what I mean. I think that represents something better, something greater." LL Cool J adds, "Maybe one day me and him will perform together and do something crazy." On his first new album in seven years, he adds, "I've been in the studio with Q-Tip and it's really like, he's pulling a lot of really interesting stuff out of me...it's very innovative. I think people are going to be really pleased with what we're doing. I can't guarantee you like, pop commercial success and all that..but I think that the people that get into this are gonna feel it because it's really, really innovative and good, and Q-Tip really helped me do something special."
