NBA Superstar Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Thinks LeBron James Will Beat His Record
On Monday's "The Talk," NBA superstar and author Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shares thoughts on LeBron (James) beating his NBA all-time scoring record, "He definitely has a shot, and LeBron has earned any and all accolades that he's gotten. If he breaks it, God bless him. I hope he has fun with it... LeBron is awesome and I really appreciate what he brings to the table in addition to being a great athlete, he's a leader... he's putting his wallet where his mouth is. I got a lot of respect for that." Host Sharon Osbourne then asks Abdul-Jabbar if he were in Kobe Bryant's shoes, would he consider coming out of retirement? Abdul-Jabbar reacts, "My feet would not fit in Kobe's shoes. I wouldn't do it if I were Kobe. Kobe has nothing to prove... Kobe has two numbers in the Hall of Fame, not just one, he's got two. How did he do that? I think he should be satisfied with what he's doing and just enjoy the show."
