Jameela Jamil weighs in on the media and their portrayal of her. "I get frustrated with just the general way in which I get portrayed. Whenever I have a kind of exchange, I've been known to be a little bit fussy on social media, some could say that. But I'm not without dignity and without being careful. Especially as a woman of color, I'm aware and I'm actually 10 times more careful than the white woman, or a white straight woman, in particular. I have to tread on eggshells," says Jamil. "Even if I didn't start the altercation, the headline is always 'Jameela Jamil attacks', it's always me attacking the white woman, and it's this desperate need to portray women of color as aggressive and violent, and to undermine our opinions. That is something that really needs to stop... It's really racist." Sharon Osbourne admits, "I do think that the British press is much worse than America. In England it's just terrible, they crucify you." Jamil adds, "We love to rip people down in England."
