'The Talk' Hosts Slam Bill Cosby For Saying He's a 'political prisoner'
"The Talk" the hosts discuss Bill Cosby's recent message from prison referring to himself as a "political prisoner" and claims likeness to Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King, Jr. Carrie Ann Inaba reacts, "He's in jail and serving time for it. To me, this feels like a publicity stunt, almost like to try to make him look good... I find it a bit strange. He's in jail, he's not a hero." Sara Gilbert adds, "He is in jail for drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand... to compare yourself to Ghandi or Nelson Mandela, they were not in jail for that...There were 60 other accusers that we know of, and most just the statute of limitations are too long." Sharon Osbourne remarks, "He did admit to giving women that date rape drug. He admitted it, so very freely, not forced, not tortured. He said he did it. So it's like, this man, he wants to be some sort of folk hero, for what? You have abused women for years, and you're paying the price whether you're 22 or 82."
