At Oprah's 2020 Vision Tour in San Francisco, "The Talk" hosts reflect on powerful moments with Oprah Winfrey. "You made me call my mom... because I have a troubled relationship with my mom," Carrie Ann Inaba tells Winfrey. "Just hearing your courage that way, I know what it did for me." Winfrey says, "I had a really complicated relationship with my mom, and I think people who come from oppression...when you're the first in your family to do anything well... first thing everybody says is, 'I want to buy my mom a house.'" On how Winfrey changed the 'disease to please,' she shares, "I was saying 44 is it, when you sort of come into your own and you stop listening to what everyone else has to say." Osbourne adds, "You know when somebody that you love, but you know they are taking advantage of you... whatever way...And you just want to say 'Look, no,' and you can't." Winfrey asks, "But Sharon, why don't you say no?" "I don't have the courage inside to do it to certain people who I love."
