Ready to celebrate Broadway's brightest?

On Tuesday, it was announced that the 71st Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast live from New York City on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 8-11pm live ET/delayed PT on CBS. Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, May 2.

The highly esteemed awards ceremony, which honors theater professionals for outstanding achievement on Broadway, was first held on April 6, 1947 and has been broadcast on CBS since 1978.

The event is presented by Tony Award Productions and is a joint venture of the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which founded the Tonys.
