9 Tony Moments That Made Us Wanna Sing And Dance!

At other awards ceremonies, the show producers cue the "play-off" music if your acceptance speech goes over 90 seconds. Not the Tonys. Instead, in true Broadway fashion, hosts Alan Cumming and Kristen Chenoweth warned nominees that they'd be ushered off by a line of high-kicking chorus boys if they started to ramble. 

After stars Kelli O'Hara and Ken Wantanabe performed with the cast of The King And I, hosts Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth offered up their own hysterical rendition of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. We don't know what was more amusing: Seeing Alan pull off a pale pink bonnet or trying to figure out how Kristin tucked her beautiful blonde tresses under that bald cap.

All of the evening's musical performances were spectacular, but we couldn't help but be blown away by the impressive pipes of Fun Home star Sydney Lucas. When the 11-year-old belted out the song "Ring Of Keys," we made a B-Line to the Kleenex.

There were a ton of Tony moments that made us giggle, but when Kristin Chenoweth came out in an E.T. costume as Alan commented on Fun Home, we nearly lost our shiz.

We audibly swooned when these two tall drinks of water walked onto the Tony stage. After all, both stars are no strangers to the theatre: Jim Parsons is spending his summer on The Great White Way, performing in An Act Of God, while actress Taylor Schilling graced the off-Broadway stage this past winter in the iconic Ivan Turgenev play A Month In The Country. 

Nick Jonas was flanked by a pair of outta-this-world beauties—Jennifer Lopez and EDM singer Kiesza—with whom he appears on Finding Neverland: The Album, a tribute to songs from the musical re-imagined by today's biggest pop stars. 

The Broadway vet didn't walk away with a statue Sunday night, though she was nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her performance in The Visit, but she managed to wow the crowd with her overall fierceness. At 82 years old, Rivera can still act and sing circles around people less than half her age. 

As one of the night's final presenters, Neil Patrick Harris definitely didn't disappoint. The How I Met Your Mother star earned huge laughs when he joked, "Before I present the next award, earlier in the night I made some predictions in that locked box over there," which was a self-deprecating jab at his past hosting duty for a different awards show. 

During the show's "In Memoriam" segment, Josh Groban belted out "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel while a chorus of 175 performers sang behind him, and we cried our weight in tears.
