How To Pull Off Sleepwear Style Like A Star Wearing your pajamas in public is not only socially acceptable, but sophisticated.

Unless you've been in deep hibernation, you're probably aware that pajama tops and bottoms have been a popular street-style trend since, oh, the winter solstice. And there's no indication that the look is about to tucker out.

In fact, designers from For Restless Sleepers to J.Crew have taken the idea to new extremes, adding robes, kimonos, slippers, negligees, and bold prints to the mix. This latest take on sleepwear as daywear or evening wear is decidedly chic and more elegant than irreverent.

To pull off the dreamy look like The Good Fight goddess Cush Jumbo, mind the details. Match tops to bottoms for a streamlined effect, tie robes in a snug bow to nip the waist, and try heels to avoid a slouchy silhouette (and dispense with those sleepwalking rumors). Finally, a sheer camisole or a flash of lace is the surest way to attract 40 winks.
