Diageo commits $20 million to support the hospitality industry with targeted donations to Black businesses and communities.

Global beverage leader behind globally recognizable spirits brands including Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Guinness, and Tanqueray (just to name six of 200!), have stepped up their efforts to help the hospitality industry, and are focusing support on racial diversity. 

The new "Diageo Community Fund" will channel $20 million to support social justice in America while simultaneously providing much-needed assistance to the hospitality industry. Both the hospitality industry and black communities have endured a disproportionately larger impact from COVID-19, and the Diageo Community Fund will include a combination of targeted donations supporting advocacy efforts as part of the economic recovery from COVID-19, training for business owners and employees, relief aid, and more.

Through the Diageo Community Fund, the company reinforces its standing commitment to inclusivity, diversity and zero tolerance for racism and injustice.
