Can Margie and Luke Keep It Up? Or will they suffer when they get to other countries where it is harder to communicate?

Sorry cbs-admin, but are you serious? We already know what countries they are going to, so why would they "suffer" there? We've already seen countless teams through the years speak some form of Spanish in just about every country TAR has been. I'm thinking Luke and Margie might have an advantage knowing how to converse without speaking the language the other teams will need.Go Luke and Margie!!

It will be a daunting task but I believe they will persevere on more than expected.

I think they will do okay as long as they don't get upset and keep a cool head.

They seem like a highly intelligent team to me, and that is what it takes to win this race... not the ability to hear. Just because the other teams can hear what is going on does not necessarily mean that they "listen", as has been proven through countless mistakes by past contestants! I think L&M are going to hold their own, and may even take the prize!

I think they will continue to be strong, it takes a lot of effort to communicate, so they dont have time to fight!

I think they can. They are very inspiring as a team and you really root for them. This would be great if they can make to to the finals. Would show this race is really for everyone. Nothing can stop you from doing what you really want to do.

The only problem I see for them is can Margie keep up the grueling pace required? He was dragging her around last night, foreshadowing endurance trouble.

As long as they keep up their determination, they'll be just fine....my 13 yr. old daughter made an interestingcomment, however....how will they communicate when Margie is driving and Luke is in the back seat? Howcan he read the map and communicate to her? Will that hurt them?

I don't think they will suffer anymore than any other team. It will be hard for any of the teams to communicate when they are in a country where english is not the first language not just Luke and Margie. Just because Luke cannot hear, Margie can. If anything I don't think Luke's deafness will slow them down but maybe Margie being older and not as fit as some of the other teams will. Luke's deafness did not hinder him being able to bungee jump or carry heavy cheese down a hill but as they get further into the race and they don't have enough sleep, doing those tasks may be harder for Margie.

I was thinking the same thing last night. So many times in the past, we have seen the person in the back with maps giving the drivers directions. I don't know how they will overcome that. I just hope that because of this, they decide to not have the teams drive themselves. Unfortunately I can see that happening where the teams have to use taxi's more instead of driving themselves. Sometimes the best drama is when the teams are in the cars and relying on their team mate to give them directions. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think this willl be done by having the camera man in the back seat so that they can communicate with each other. The only reason one is in the back seat is to accomodate the camera person. So I don't think this will be a problem for them per se. Though I could be wrong

I haven't read the previous comments. Frankly, I think the CBS administration should not post topics. Let us, the public, post what we want. My opinion: a deaf person is not as handicapped as a person with one leg. Sorry, I don't remember the girl's name who wore a false leg in a previous season. Just let us decide the direction the board should go.

They'll be fine. They look like one of the better teams. I also like Tammy & Victor and Mark & Micheal. Linda and Steve are in trouble

I'm rooting for Luke&Margie When they came in first and Phil signed that they are the first team on the mat my whole family got teary eyed.
