I've set up an online petition which I hope all of you who want to show your support to the cast, crew and writers of Numb3rs will sign. We can't just let this show slip quietly away without a fight, and I'm in a fightin' mood, kiddos!

Petition signed, postcards to CBS to follow...this news is discouraging--and nonsensical--for so many reasons...not only does Numb3rs consistently win its time slot, but it also consistenly ranks 2nd/3rd in both overall viewership and the 18-49 demos for the entire night across all networks. What reallyirritates meis that outlines for the entire second half of the season will need to be reworked, and that weMIGHT only have 10 episodes left of one of the most engaging and innovative drama series of the decade. Should the writers plan for a "final" episode? Because Numb3rs, if those who should know better refuse to support its continuance, deserves a proper good-bye at least. I'm not ready to give up yet though.

Bumping for Numb3ry goodness and to keep the momentum from flagging - c'mon people, if mathematicians, professors (and even members of the cast!) can sign it, so can you! This is the Internet - the most techological form of mass communication ever invented - use it! Make your voice count and sign the petition, get your friends to sign, walk up to people in the street and tell them, post it everywhere and show our show that we care.Ta.Kes

Don't forget to send a real letter as well. That'll do one better. It's how The Sentinel was brought back for more season and it also helped Stargate from being cut as well.

EDIT: This just in *Insert rolling news flash here*......................... (From Rob M's assistant, and straight from the horse's mouth as it were...) I know Rob recently suggested on his FB doing a search on IMDB to get the "interest rating" up (Dylan actually was the one to suggest that to us). This is along the lines of what needs to be done. Writing letters is important, because it is obviously going to get CBS's attention. But when it comes down to it, the decision will be about revenue. In the next few months everyone should do what they can as far as: 1)watch episodes on CBS.com 2)rent DVD's from Netflix 3)buy episodes on iTunes 4)buy DVDs. (Since watching on CBS.com is free, set your computer to watch one everyday!) These things were suggested by a friend of mine who just did her graduate thesis on Networks/Neilsen/Fan campaigns. So, hope you all can spread the word!

Well... I just bought the Season 6 season pass over at iTunes... All I can do on my limited budget so I hope it gets counted!!!Thanks for the info, Kes.

Iam looking on several websites to purchase Numb3rs. There are a few places in Kalamazoo Ican also buy them. Barnes and Nobles charges an unbelievable arm and leg. FYE does sell the seasons only if Ican catch them on a good day. I am out in the Portage area on Sunday. Iam going to check out Best Buy as well. Does anyone know if you get the seasons off of E-bay, will that help as well?

Nope, no Ebay. They have to be legal... like iTunes, Amazon or through a (I think they are referred to as) box store -- a regular place of business like Target, Best Buy and etc.Good luck.

Thanks. Iam going to need all the luck Ican get on this one. Numb3rs is a hard find here in the Kalamazoo area. I do not have a credit or debit card so online sites are hard for me to do at this time. Iam hoping Best Buy has them in. Idid not think of looking at Target...thanks for the suggestion. Oh Iam wondering, Family Video can order them in as well. They are a major chain.....maybe that would work as well.

Family Video would be a good place to look. Hhhmmm... check your grocery stores and such for those gift cards -- iTunes, Amazon or even the Vista/MasterCard ones now days. You could pay for them at the check stand and then go to the website and use them just like a debit/credit card to make your purchase.

Thanks yet again. Iwill check that out when Iam in Meijer or Wal-Mart tomorrow. It amazes me Wal-Mart does not carry Numb3rs. They carry all the other CBSshows. Meijer does not either. But you did bring up a good idea. Ithink you may end up saving me on this one jadvisioness. You offer some awesome ideas.

Walmart does carry them. The thing is you have to get them when they first come out. They should have the lastest release if not sold out, but they probably won't have the earlier ones. Though you may be able to get them at WM on-line. I already got my season 5 dvds. I usually go to Amazon for the best price. Have you also noticed that CBS is not very good at keeping things up to date on the Numb3rs website. They still have the ad for the one about cloning and they have already pulled that from the site. Also, I missed NCIS last night and was able to watch it first thing this morning. With Numb3rs it takes them 4-5 days to download it. They never have been very good at promoting the show either.
