At the eleventh hour before the show begins....who will be eliminated tonight? Can't wait for Phil's time on the mat, and who the heck gets booted this week? We have our east coast spies at work on this one.
Okay BJ, what is the matter, too much sleep?
HEY! SNAP OUT OF IT!...As Cher so intelligently said in Moonstruck. Okay I feel much better now!
See you tonight on www.BuddyTV.com...where GuidoVision now includes that modern invention,SOUND! We finally figured our computer out! See you tonight, or here tomorrow with our rant and rave.

I was late on watching the race and was dissappointed that "Sarah" and Peter were eliminated but not surprised when the editing focused on Peters comment when he was laughing and estatci about finding the arrow to the task, I knew they were going to be doomed.
I wasn't surprised at Sarah's exit interview as she talked about the things she learned about Peter and that it seems like their relationship will pretty much stay as friends. Thats one thing I really admire about the race, watching how the relationship between the teams transforms by the end of their time on the race.

Hands down I think the Cho brothers are great! I htought it was very admirable of them to allow David and Mary to go ahead of them but I agree with Chip A. we have to realize this is a race and there is going to be a winner and loser and by holding back could be the difference between the two. Believe me I learned it first hand and although while running the race I believe you don't have to be mean, degrading, selfish or rude you do have to push as hard as you can and try to get to the pitstop first.

A close friend of mine asked me why is Rob so nasty and always acting like a (well lets just say) cranky person, honestly I don't rememeber him being as cranky this last leg as others.
I say the next task should be mud wrestling and Dustin and Kandace have to get into the pit with Lyn and karlyn. The first team out gets the clue!!! Ha Ha would love to see those two teams go at it.

I am with you Chip, Tyler and James seem to be real chummy not that I am saying they need to stop or anything although they did argue a little on this last leg. I think they are a strong team and I am looking forward to watching them til the end.

Wow this weeks blogginig discussion is interesting and insightful! Wish I wasn't away and was able to have some dialogue from day 1.

Did someone bring up amazing race all stars? BJ I agree with you, I think letting the fans vote to decide who they would want to see race would be the way to choose the teams. I mean after all its because of the fans support that the shows still on why not give them what they want? As far as people knowing who to look for in airports, I think that spoilers will exist whther the fans have an idea of who is being voted on or not, but giving them a voice in who will be on would definitley spike viewership. OK enough of that, but I have to admit I am glad to hear some chat out in front about it all (whether its true or not) instead of whispers and rumors behind closed doors.
Oh and just to throw in my two cents worth (laughs) (I know this will come back and bite me later) but where is everyone getting the statistics about "the most popular team" ehhhemm check out the popularity vote charts on the CBS web site from season to season... ok enough about all this inside stuff

We had lunch with Phil on Tuesday, and after talking with him for a while I realize that I need to apologize: in my earlier post I said something I shouldn't have. I meant to compare him to Laird Macintosh, not Hamilton.

BJ you are so right, I think anyone who gets to the end of the race depends on a lot of help from locals along the way. It helped us tremendously asking locals on planes the exact directions to certain places and how to ask taxi drivers where to go when we landed. We often wrote the directions down on a piece of paper on the plane in their language and just handed it to the driver, that saved lots of time getting to the first challenge off of the plane.

BJ and Tyler fun time watching you with Kim and Chip this week (hint Chip has hair)..check it out gang.

Ok, I guess maybe the Cho brothers know what they're doing. I had my doubts about these pranksters with their fake cell phones and water guns, but I like that they let their friends go for the Fast. But now they have to be careful, because there's going to be a mad rush for the next Forward. Did it bother anyone else that Peter just kept driving around going, "Tell me where to go, Sarah" instead of ever asking a local for directions? I'm just surprised he wasn't snacking on something while he was driving.

All this talk about All Stars is making my head spin. If its true I'm glad we didn't get asked back. Losing the Race the first time has made me too competitive. I would be slashing tires and Yielding people left and right. hahaha, I would be evil as the likes of The Guidos! haha, love ya Bill!

Regardless I agree with ya Chip M, how cool was the Chos helping Kentucky? Wow. It seems like everytime they do something nice (Moment of Silence at the War Museum) they survive and end well. Karma can be a bi*ch or a really cool chick if you play her right.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE . . . THE CHO BROTHERS!!! Their act of selflessness and loyalty towards David & Mary was unparralled in any season of TAR . . . or any other Reality or Sporting Event that I have ever seen in my life.

David & Mary are the salt of the earth . . . so friendly, lovable and competive. It was great to see them come in first (Oh, by the way, did I mention how wonderful are . . . THE CHO'S?!?!?!)

I can't wait to see the fisticuffs fly next week between Dustin & Candace and Lyn & Karlyn. It looks to be VERY EXCITING.

Rob & Kimberly and Tyler & James were very quiet this week.

It was SUPER SAD to see Sarah go. SHE was a REAL CHAMPION!!! It was not so sad (naw, let me not go there).

Check out Kim's and my Weekly TAR10 Review at:

www.ChipAndKim.tv

. . . Can't wait until next week.

Oh, by the way, have you all heard about the TAR10 Finale Party on the West Coast . . . IT IS GOING TO BE OFF DA' HEEZIE' FO' SHEEZIE!?!?!?! Check it out on our www.ChipAndKim.tv homepage.

B.J./Tyler and Chip/Kim have already raced and WON OUR AMAZING RACE!!!!! It would have been nice to have the fans vote in their favorite teams, but such is life. We are all bitter because obviously this is the greatest show ever and we ALL want to be a part of such a wonderful experience……Remember B.J. if Season 5 wasn’t a hit then there would be no Season 9……

The Cho brothers are my heroes. What an awesome move they made to help their alliance partners David and Mary. I would like to see them win because of their generosity and kind hearts. Their mother must be proud!!! You can now see the benefits of having these alliances running the race. It really helps with your confidence. Chip and I knew to align with Colin/Christie, Lance/Marshall, and Brandon/Nicole because we felt they were the strongest teams. Now obviously toward the end of the race it will be every man for themselves.

Poor Sarah. I would have loved to see her go further, but seeing how this is a team game she really couldn’t do this competition all by herself…….

And the Sista’s better watch their backs because two blonde beauty queens are after their bacon!!!!! Can’t wait to see what happens next week ……….

BJ and Tyler have their own PR agency, if people did not know it, and who doesn't like hippies...."iree mon" ...as to Andrew's point let's see how you boys stack up against some of the past winners, as I remember didn't you guys just win by a few minutes over Eric and Jeremy, who blew up on the flag challenge?

As for playing nice, I loved that Erwin and Godwin did not get eliminated, as they kept to their word of an alliance until the end, but logically I doubt they will do the same thing again if it is actually between them and David and Mary being eliminated. For all of the fans out there, this is a race and there is very little money for second and almost nothing for finishing below that...so what would you all do? Maybe the purpose of being on the race changes for some folks, but I think in the end everyone is there to win, right?

Also, I think we are all seeing that much of the race is a hurry up to get somewhere to give yourself time to recover from screwing up. What were Peter and Sarah thinking by not asking for directions in a very foreign land...the rest of the teams seem to understand this part. And I am glad to see David and Mary have a another week of it...Mary is so cute when she does the challenges. meek and humble.

Andrew, you weren't the worst team in history...well okay maybe second worst...kidding...so much of it all is luck of the driver and get your directions right!

More laters...and BJ and Tyler what is a "Golden Really Realitini" is that awarded after drinking several martinis at a casino in Vegas? And BJ and Tyler..haven't you been contacted about an ALL STARS...mmmm...better start making some calls boys!

And finally...okay everyone Tyler and James are reaaaaallly chummy on the race and at the end...I don't think I ever remember guy-guy best friend teams being so "touchy" with one another...even BJ and Tyler high fived and did not pat each other all over the place all of the time...what gives?

10/23/06 1:59 pm
Hey Andrew, I have to say again it is good to have you here! You are so right with all your comments...sometime hard to swallow, but right on the money.

Last night we were expecting the worst, so when Erwin and Godwin helped David and Mary, we knew they had a fighting chance, with the way they have been racing, you might wonder if Erwin and Godwin made a tactical error?

Peter and Sarah, nothing more to add, other than Sarah is probably THE toughest competitor to date. Her partner the male version of Flo P. I might have to agree with Andrew, the villain is gone, I guess it is up to Rob to bring the nasty to Race! Well come on, you have to have someone make the rest of the crew look good!

Cool puzzle to finish at the end of the tower climb. Who thought puzzle assembly could make the reacers so crazy! The BQ's were beside themselves when the Mom's stopped their 'Fern' from divulging information. The Mom's really can show their teeth when they are pissed off!

We also loved the kneeling on the ground by one of the Cho brothers begging the cop to continue his flashing light escort...that kind of luck couldn't have lasted all day!

More later.....Come on BJ and Tyler this blog is about season 10 or am I on the wrong page? Congrats on your nomination! Hello to Phil when you see him.
xxoo Guido

They would not post a vote online for All Stars. C'mon. Then everyone is going to know who to look for in airports and such creating too many spoliers. Duh!
The Amazing Race bets in Vegas would be so totally screwed up.
***I definitely blew my chance at All Stars...Im the only team to win a Fast Forward and still be eliminated...making me and Dad the worst Race team in history. What about 'Amazing Race; Losers Edition?' I would rock it out there!

'Winningest team ever' BJ? Sure you were popular BJ, but look at your compeition. Obnoxious arrogant models and 'fight a lot' Ray and Yolanda. (No offense Yolando, you know I love you! Youre my My Space Queen) So yeah, you were popular. But I'd be the most popular team racing against Stalin and Hitler too.

Go Dustin and Kandice and go Kentucky!
Dustin and Kandy are flippin awesome competitors and I'm so eager for them to be the first all female team to win! Kentucky is fom my home state and despite her nagging, which I think is cute, I love these two!
Peter and Sarah, I will miss their drama, her crying, his fussing. It made for great entertainment.

10/23/06 4:44 am
Tyler, trust me, if they were doing that, they would contact us. We were the most well-liked team ever to compete on the Race, as shown by CBS's own website. I'm sure they wouldn't just pick a gimmicky team like Rob & Amber or a "competitive" team like Colin & Christie, and turn their backs on friendly winning teams like us and Chip & Kim, leaving us to find out about it from some gossip site like tvgasm.com. We were the most winningest winners ever to win. I imagine they'd do something like they did with Big Brother, and let the fans vote on which teams they'd like to see compete. That would be the smart thing to do; better than casting fighting couples again. "Ooh, bartender Rob and his girlfriend Kimberly have dated for the last two years and recently moved in together - will their unresolved relationship issues prove to be challenges that they simply cannot overcome?" And will anyone care...No. Just break up, and stop calling each other "babe."

10/23/06 4:44 am
BJ, that's not ironic. What would be ironic is if someone were putting together an all-star version of the race and contacted teams like Lynn & Alex and Brian & Greg, but did not contact us, the most popular and amazing team of all time, about it.

10/23/06 3:33 am
Well, Tyler, you asked for it, you got it: product placement. Who knew Nokia got such good reception in Chennai? The Travelocity roaming gnome knew. He's always one step ahead of the game. I feel for Phil. Trapped in that tiny Finnish prison, forced to imitate Laird Hamilton without a hint of irony.

Speaking of irony, Tyler and I, known worldwide as the most amazing reality stars in history, have been nominated in the category of "Most Memorable Reality Performer" for a Golden Really Realitini award:

www.realityremix.tv/really/

Wait, that's not ironic. Anyway, since you are coming into town for the Really Realitini Awards tomorrow morning, I emailed Phil, who I think is going to meet us for lunch. He left me a voicemail on my T-mobile Sidekick with a video message telling me them to travel in my marked car to the mystery location shown on the phone.
