House Votes Out Sheryl 5 to 3
In an interview from his private Head of Household room, Mike talks with Julie, saying that "If Nicole stays, I'm in a lot of trouble." He's confident that when the moment of truth arrives, his plan will work out. With Krista and Bunky yet to be heard from, their unrevealed votes will make the difference.

Julie announces to the assembled HouseGuests that in a 5 to 3 vote, Sheryl is the first person evicted. There are hugs and shocked looks all around the room as Sheryl gathers her belongings. Sheryl collects Bob the watermelon as a souvenir and crosses the courtyard to talk with Julie in the Big Brother studio.
Sheryl tells Julie she is comfortable with the eviction, knowing that it wasn't a personal vote, but a strategic one. She recognizes that the tension between Chill Town and the Real People was the most important factor and that she lost out as a way of sending Chill Town a message. Sheryl has a happy reunion with her mother and children, with the reminder from Julie that she'll return in September to help with the final votes.
