ERIC-CONCILABLE DIFFERENCES
JEN WINS POV HoH Daniele is looking for payback after the eviction of her BFF Nick last week. Her target is Eric, the HouseGuest she claims is "behind it all." Once again, Kail is struggling for survival on the block as the pawn. Jen is also on the block again, but in a show of true grit, throws caution and comfort to the wind to pull off a victorious win in the PoV competition. Daniele promptly places Eric in her place in an effort to backdoor him, leaving America's Player pleading for votes. Backdoor or Trapdoor? Daniele's plan to nominate Kail as a pawn leaves the business owner from Oregon feeling nervous. Jen laughs about being on the block again, given that she's survived three nominations already and thinks the trend will continue. Dick indulges in playing head games with Jen, trying to shake her confidence in her game play. "You're idiocy is amazing," he tells her. Jen isn't fazed, shrugging her shoulders in response. In the privacy of the diary room Dick admits he doesn't want Jen to know Daniele's plan to backdoor Eric, since that would allow her to relax. The cat is already out of the bag however, as Eric reveals in his diary room session. "I have caught wind of plans to go after me." Eric deduces he will need to secure four of the seven votes this week and he's ready to fight for each one. Eric huddles with his allies Amber, Jessica and Dustin, telling them there's a good chance he'll end up on the block this week. Jessica doesn't believe any of what Daniele and Dick told her about Eric being the mastermind behind all the votes. "They want Eric (gone)," she whines to the group. Dustin tells her to play along with Dick and Daniele and not let them know she is working to keep Eric in the house. Eric reassures his group that strategically, "We're 15 steps ahead of them." Dustin gets his game on and smiles, "The game officially is under way!" Later in the kitchen Eric tells Jameka that there's "a 100% guarantee" that Dick and Daniele are going to "backdoor" him. Jameka is shocked at his revelation. Later, when she has a quiet moment with Amber, the topic of Eric's possible nomination comes up. Amber can't understand why the father-daughter team won't evict Jen or Kail when they obviously want them gone. Jameka suggests their plan to get rid of Eric will weaken the rest of the HouseGuests, allowing Daniele and Dick "to prevail over us." Finding Friends Daniele brings Zach into the HoH room for a chat. Zach admits he is out of friends and allies in the house and is open to suggestions. Daniele plays on their shared friendship with Nick and states that her actions as HoH are all about payback. "This week is for Nick," she tells Zach, revealing her intention to target the "other group" in the house. Zach is eager to be included and volunteers he'd "love to work with them." "Same page?" Daniele asks. "One hundred percent," Zach confirms. Eric gathers Dustin and Jess to inform them Daniele and Dick are definitely trying to get the votes to evict him. Dustin is enraged, huffing, "It's all out war…it's (going to be) a downright bloodbath." Dustin swears Eric will have more votes to stay than Daniele and Dick will have to evict him. Addressing Dick and Daniele in absentia he snarls, "You have just dug your collective graves." Number Don't Lie As the HouseGuests pick players for the PoV competition, Eric is itching to be picked so he can win POV and make sure he doesn't get backdoored. Eric's hopes are crushed, though, as Daniele draws Zach, Jen draws Dustin and Kail draws "HouseGuest Choice," choosing Jameka. Amber is chosen as host. "Numbers Don't Lie" is the name of the game and the players are informed they will be presented with a series of sticky situations. For each challenge or situation, the players have to bid on how much they will be willing to give or do or endure in order to win the PoV. The person with the lowest bid will be eliminated from the game. The question at the core of this game: how far are the HouseGuests willing to go to win the Veto? Amber reveals the first situation. Show Me the Bunny asks how many hours the HouseGuests will wear a bunny outfit in the house. Dustin is eliminated due to having the lowest bid. Dustin's performance disappoints Eric, who "expected him to fight a little harder than he did." Zach, Kail, Jen, and Daniele must all wear a bunny costume for 120 hours. Dump the Funk is the next challenge, asking the players how many times over the next 24 hours they'd be willing to have a funky mixture dumped over their heads. The players all bid 24, so no one is eliminated. |
