What world leader do you admire?
I don't think that I admire any world leader most. I
respect all of them because running any country is not easy. I don't think
I'd want to do it. I would say that I have the most respect for leaders like
Martin Luther King, or Colin Powell for not being afraid to speak out for
what they believed even if it was dangerous or unpopular. They also did it
without putting other people down. You don't have to step on people to get
to the top.
How would you change the world?
People don't help single moms enough in this country,
I would work to change that. There is no reason people should have to raise
families by themselves. For the world I would end hunger. We waste a lot over
here and it doesn't have to be that way.
How would you change your neighborhood?
I wouldn't. I have a great neighborhood. The families
do things together and care about the neighborhood. It is a safe area with
good schools (not that I enjoy school).
What have you learned about power?
If you want it, get it. If you get it, keep it.
Is power a good thing?
Sometimes. I mean, I think that being able to get people
to do what you want them to do makes you powerful. You don't have to be the
"leader" to be powerful. I think the most popular people are a lot
of times the most powerful, because people copy them. Power is not a good
thing when the powerful people use it for bad. There is no reason for all
that …and when you do wrong, it comes back to you. God don't like ugly.
Ha, ha, ha.
What makes a good leader?
Someone who cares about others and isn't afraid to speak
up for them. Someone that gets other people to listen to them and follow what
they do.
Who have been some of the best U.S. presidents, and why?
Clinton because the people loved him and still do. Carter
after he got out of office because he has helped so many people. I have to
say Lincoln. He freed the slaves. Where in the world would I be without that?
In 10 years I hope I can say Obama. He is the man.
Who have been some of the worst U.S. presidents, and why?
Bush. The latest Bush. If you want to know why, ask any
other country in the world. What a mess.
When you become an adult, what do you think will be the biggest problem facing our nation and/or world?
The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.
If you had the power to change one or two things about our country right now, what would it be?
It doesn't make sense that some people are sooo rich
and others are sooo poor. We've got people living in mansions and other people
living on the street. It makes no sense. If our leaders cared about giving
a little more then maybe people wouldn't have to suffer. I would also change
the way people treat single moms. It isn't good. Really, I just wish people
would treat others the way they want to be treated until they do something
to deserve being treated differently. Even if they don't understand them.
If you could put into place one law that pertains to kids in our country, what would it be?
Hmmm... all kids with single parents would have a mentor
or someone to help them make it. Also, all kids should have a good education
even if their parents can't pay for it. I have been to public school and I
have been to private school. It is not the same at all and it is not the kids'
fault.
Why are some people rich and others poor?
There are a lot of reasons why. Some people just mess
up and make bad choices and it follows them or their kids. Other people have
money before they are even born because the people before them made good decisions.
They aren't any better. Just luckier.
Do you believe global warming is a fact or a myth? If you think it is a fact, what would you do about it if you were in charge?
I do believe it is a fact but I don't think it is the
most important problem in our world right now. I would deal with it after
I deal with something else like poverty.
If you were in charge of immigration, would everyone be allowed to enter the country? Would illegal immigrants be allowed to stay?
I don't think other people should be able to come in
right now unless they have family here. You can't just let everyone enter.
That makes no sense. We have enough issues here and too many people as it
is. Fix that before adding anything or anybody else. I don't think we should
send anybody back though. I think they should stay if they are here. They
work hard. When my family moved once, they helped us with all of the furniture
and didn't complain at all. Anybody that works that hard deserves to stay
here.
If you were in charge of education, would art class be as important as math?
Definitely! Well, music sure would. People are different
and have different talents. Everyone in this world is not going to go to college
or have a regular job. People have talents that should be rewarded too. Everyone
is different. If you know that you want to be a writer, what difference does
it make that you know how to do trigonometry or something like that? Speaking
of which, how many people use trigonometry every day anyway? I don't even
know what it is.
Do you belong to any organizations or clubs?
I am a member of AEA, it is a theater union. I'm going
to be on Broadway one day.
If you could switch places with one person, who would it be and why?
I like my life. I may switch for a little while
with someone on Broadway, a singer like Usher, or an actor. Whoever they are,
they would be rich for sure and definitely have a good wardrobe.
