What world leader do you admire?
Martin Luther King and Ghandi.
How would you change the world?
I would abolish racism and any acts of violence. I am
bi-racial so I understand both sides. And I just think that violence creates
even more problems-look at the war for example!
How would you change your neighborhood?
Well, let's just say my neighborhood doesn't socially
interact with each other very well so I would definitely start a type of thing
where there would be monthly get-togethers so everyone could get to know each
other a little better and we would be more like "friendly" neighbors.
What have you learned about power?
Power can be used in a positive or a negative way-especially
for those who look up to that person in power.
Is power a good thing?
Not always, because it can overtake a person completely
in which the authority can be abused.
What makes a good leader?
A good leader is a person who can have confidence in
their abilities and also be a good example for all of his or her followers;
and also be a good person in all aspects of life.
Who have been some of the best U.S. presidents, and why?
Teddy Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy because they inspired
Americans and led them in new directions.
Who have been some of the worst U.S. presidents, and why?
I'd rather not answer that question.
When you become an adult, what do you think will be the biggest problem facing our nation and/or world?
Healthcare will be the biggest problem because unfortunately
the needs just increase because of obesity, heart related issues and cancer.
If you had the power to change one or two things about our country right now, what would it be?
I would arrange the change the current policies and plan
for the war and I would help the campaign to stop smoking in America.
If you could put into place one law that pertains to kids in our country, what would it be?
I would make a law that requires that every child achieves
a high-school diploma, supported and funded by the government.
Why are some people rich and others poor?
Some people are rich because they may inherit it, invest
it, etc.; and others are poor because they might not have the knowledge or
education to earn, save or invest money.
Do you believe global warming is a fact or a myth? If you think it is a fact, what would you do about it if you were in charge?
I believe global warming is a fact, but I don't think
I could take charge of the matter very easily because I don't have as much
knowledge of global warming as I probably should.
If you were in charge of immigration, would everyone be allowed to enter the country? Would illegal immigrants be allowed to stay?
1) Only if they go through the proper, legal application
process. 2) if an immigrant has been living in america for a very long time,
they should be given a chance to go through a legal application process as
well.
If you were in charge of education, would art class be as important as math?
Not necessarily because math is something you use every
day. Art may be another kid's passion, but not yours. Not everyone expresses
themselves through art.
Do you belong to any organizations or clubs?
Young Voices of Indiana.
If you could switch places with one person, who would it be and why?
I would probably switch places with a teen celebrity
such as Ashley Tisdale because she travels quite often, she has a boyfriend, she's
on tour a lot of the time, and she lives in L.A.! What more could you want for
a day?!
