Daphna's Final Words

Born in Germany, Daphna comes from a musical background. Her father was a music publisher who discovered the band The Scorpions. Her mother, Elisa Gabbai, is a famous singer in Germany. When Daphna was 3-years-old, the family moved to New York City, where she grew up.

Daphna attended Syracuse University where she received a double major in communications and international relations.

Daphna has performed at New York's "Snitch," a club that is owned by some of the members of Velvet Revolver, for a rock-n-roll tsunami relief concert. She was named one of Heeb Magazine's "Up And Coming Musicians." Nine months ago, she took the advice of Gene Simmons (from the band KISS) and moved to Los Angeles. She was most recently part of the band Lexington. Their Los Angeles gigs included performances at El Rey, the Viper Room, Knitting Factory, The Joint and Cat Club. When not performing, she works as a legal secretary.

Among musicians, Daphna most admires John Lennon. Her favorite rocker is Stevie Nicks. In addition to vocals, Daphna plays guitar and piano.

Daphna's birth date is July 14, 1975.
