The results are in. You picked the Ten Toughest Challenges in SURVIVOR history, and Stephenie LaGrossa is counting them down on SURVIVOR LIVE. Each week, Stephenie will appear in a special segment and introduce the next pick. If you miss an episode, you can always catch up here in the archive.

In case you missed the vote, here's how it worked. Legendary SURVIVOR Challenge Producer John Kirhoffer picked the 20 Challenges he considers the most difficult in the game's history, and we asked you to rate their degree of difficulty. The results are in, and we've compiled your list of the Top Ten Toughest Challenges.




Guatemala, Episode 1
Jungle Trek

Reward (flint and first choice of campsite): Eleven-mile hike through the dense Guatemalan jungle.




Palau, Episode 3
Hot Pursuit

Immunity: Tribe members clipped together, each carrying a sandbag. Tribes race toward each other to tag the opposing tribe.




Thailand, Episode 13
Slip through Your Fingers

Immunity: Players maintain traditional Thai poses without letting any of three coins slip from between the fingers of each hand.




Pearl Islands Panama, Episode 6
Carry That Weight

Immunity: Players choose sandbags, which the opposing tribe must load onto the shoulders of three of their tribemates.




Pearl Islands Panama, Episode 1
Cannon Carry

Immunity: Each tribe transports a cannon through rough jungle terrain to the beach, dismantling and reassembling it along the way.




The Australian Outback, Episode 3
Water Torture

Reward (fishing tackle): Tribe members race across thin planks with jugs of water, which they load onto the opposing tribe's "water bearer."




Thailand, Episode 4
New Tribe Member

Reward (bananas, chickens): Race through an obstacle course carrying a 10-foot, 250-pound dummy.




Marquesas, Episode 10
Rock Bottom

Reward (cruise and feast for two): Dive to the ocean floor to retrieve giant shells, then a 40-pound rock, which players must carry to shore.




Palau, Episode 2
Heads Up

Immunity: Each tribe drags a foot locker 50 feet across the ocean floor, unlatches them to release mess kits. Each tribemate swims to shore with one mess kit, then the tribe deciphers the Morse code written on the mess kits.




Pearl Islands Panama, Episode 2
Bountiful Chest

Reward (part of a treasure map plus the right to loot one item from the opposing tribe's camp): Players retrieve five treasure items from the ocean floor, place them in a sunken treasure chest, then place the chest on a platform on shore.
