Andrea Anders is best known to television audiences for her role as Alex Garrett in the comedy "Joey." Her other television credits include "Law & Order," "Tru Calling," "Oz," "One Life to Live" and GUIDING LIGHT. She also appeared in the feature film "The Stepford Wives."

Anders is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1997. She received her Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University in 2001.

Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Anders currently lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is May 10.
