Kristen Connolly is perhaps best known to fans for her performance in "House of Cards." Most recently, she wrapped production on "The Whispers," a television series produced by Steven Spielberg, premiering in June. Connolly was the female lead in "Houdini," a four hour mini-series opposite Adrien Brody and directed by Uli Edel, for the History Channel.
Connolly's growing list of film credits includes "The Bay," "The Cabin in the Woods," "Revolutionary Road," "The Happening" and "Confessions of a Shopaholic." Recently, she shot the independent film "A Good Marriage," opposite Joan Allen and Anthony LaPaglia, and directed by Peter Askin.
On television, Connolly has made guest-star appearances on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "New Amsterdam," "Mercy," "Nurse Jackie" and "Life on Mars."
Connolly's theater credits include "Measure for Measure" and "All's Well That Ends Well" at Shakespeare in the Park in New York City, as well as "King Lear" at The New York Public Theater. This past summer, she starred as Desdemona in the Old Globe production of "Othello."
Connolly was born in New Jersey and currently resides in New York City. Her birthday is July 12.
