THIS WEEK'S DETOUR
The first Detour required Teams to choose between "Beach" and "Mountain." "Mountain" involved a quick but frightening 590-foot rappel down the sheer granite face of Sugarloaf. "Beach" was safer but slower: Teams choosing this option were required to go back down the mountain in the gondola, then find transportation to Ipanema Beach. Once there, they must find the woman who inspired the song "Girl from Ipanema," with only a photograph to help them. >>Road Block
