Spike It: Teams used old-time materials and tools to complete a 20-foot section of railway track. The task required precision work, but Teams with an eye for detail could finish quickly. The Linz, Godlewski and Bransen families worked on the rails.
Steam It: In Steam It, Teams used buckets to fill the tender of an old-time steam locomotive with 400 pounds of coal. The task didn’t require any precision, but running hundreds of pounds of coal back and forth could take a long time. The Weavers opted to haul coal.

In this Roadblock, two Team members mounted horses, took six cattle from a holding pen and herded them downrange a quarter mile into a corral. Beth and Lauren Bransen, Rebecca and Rachel Weaver, Michelle and Sharon Godlewski, and Tommy and Alex Linz saddled up.
