Give yourself at least three to four days to explore the park…
Yvonne, Summit, MS

My family and I went to Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 2004. It was an amazing place! My family and I were so excited to see Old Faithful during the race. We had stayed in the cabins close by there when we went. I really enjoyed it because I like to view geological formations and at Yellowstone you have different ones to choose from; you're not stuck with seeing only mountains, or waterfalls, etc. There was lots of different wildlife to view as well. It is a wonderful vacation spot for just a couple or for the entire family. We stayed in the park, which I suggest. Also, give yourself at least three to four days to explore the park--and that's only hitting the highlights. If you take children, wait until they are old enough to remember the experience. I would hate to take someone so young to such a fabulous place and not have them remember their vacation in the years to come. Also, there is a lot a walking, some of it strenuous--another factor for not taking children of a very young age. If you ever have the opportunity, go to Yellowstone!
